Switzerland ready to mull confiscation of frozen Russian assets

GENEVA, Jun 26 (PRIME) -- Switzerland is ready to discuss confiscation of the frozen assets of the Russian central bank and the government, Pierre-Alain Eltschinger, spokesperson for the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, told PRIME on Monday.

“Regarding assets of the Russian state and the foreign currency reserves of the central bank of Russia in particular, Switzerland monitors the discussions at the international level and is ready to take part in them,” he said.
